Extratime Pledge To Parent Carers

Extratime values it’s relationship with parent carers and are committed to working in partnership with them to provide high quality play and leisure opportunities for their children and young people in a fun, safe environment which values each child and young person as an individual.

Extratime will:

Welcome parent carers at all times to discuss its work, have a chat or take part in the activities.

Keep parent carers informed of opening times, fees and charges, programmes of activities, menus and procedures.

Give parent carers access to their children’s files upon request.

Make extratime policies and procedures available for parent carers to look at.

Be consistent and reliable to enable parent carers to plan with confidence and peace of mind.

Share and discuss their children’s achievements, experiences, progress and friendships.

Organise regular open meetings and or send out evaluations where parent carers can be involved   in decisions about running the projects.

Ask parent carers permission for outings and special events.

Listen to parent carers concerns and opinions to ensure that extratime continues to meet their children’s needs.
