Our extraordinary son, Sean died suddenly aged 16 on 9th July 2012. He had severe disabilities and for many years, he attended Extratime’s inclusive afterschool club and playschemes. Extratime was started up by two mums who were frustrated at not being able to find childcare for their severely disabled children. Extratime provided our family with much needed childcare and respite, and Sean absolutely loved the staff and activities there. We would therefore ask for no flowers at Sean’s funeral, only donations to Extratime, a wonderful and essential local charity - Frank & Juliette (parents, July 2012)
Thanks to all at Woody’s for making Annie’s holidays such fun, she has had a fantastic time and is now asking why you can’t all live with us!!! Lol….. And thanks a million to all at Extratime for making the holidays a bit easier to manage, what would we do without you all, you’re all such fantastic people!! - (parent, carer, Sept 2012)

She really enjoyed going to the movies with you all at Easter I was a little apprehensive as I thought it would be too loud for her but she loved it so looks like we may try the movies now - (parent, carer April 2012)
We only moved to the area last year so it has been beneficial for Kane to continue to see familiar school friends at the Hove YMCA club. extratime provides respite for me and a welcome break for Kane during the week - Tracy (parent, August 2012)
