We’re looking for a Venue Lead to join us as we start our exciting new service for children in West Sussex and establish a new after school club in partnership with Herons Dale and Holmbush schools.

The Venue Lead is responsible for the overall management and delivery of the new after school club. You will achieve this by inspiring, leading and managing a team of Play Workers and a Deputy, ensuring the team delivers high quality, fun and creative play and leisure opportunities appropriate for children and young people with a wide range of abilities and interests. This includes personal care and support for children and young people with physical/learning disabilities, communication issues and behavioural challenges.

You will also develop and manage new relationships with the local community and venue, raising Extratime’s profile and maximising attendance at the new club. You will represent Extratime at appropriate agency meetings and will work with the wider Venue Lead team and Senior Venue Lead to ensure all Extratime venues are meeting Outstanding Ofsted standards.

What can you expect?

The salary for the role is £17,982 per annum (£12.35 per hour).

The Venue Lead will work 28 hours per week. Further information on working arrangements is in the job description.

We’ll also support you in building your skills and experience by providing regular on-the-job coaching and feedback, as well as offering training. Additional Holiday Scheme work is also available during school holidays.
