After school club and holiday play scheme supervisor for extratime@hillside in Portslade. 21.25 hours per week @£11.43/hr. Term time 2.30pm to 6pm (39 weeks), plus full days during school holiday playscheme or youth holiday scheme, up to nine weeks per annum.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Hillside School venue for an experienced and qualified supervisor! Applicants need to hold a level 3 qualification in playwork (preferably) or childcare and have experience of leading a team in a similar setting. Experience of working with disabled children desirable.

Bank Play / Youth Workers
£6.18 (under 18- 21 years)
£6.33 (over 21 years) -£7.05 per hour for inclusion play/youth worker
£7.51 - £8.05 per hour for senior play/youth worker
After school club hours - Hillside and Woodingdean - 2.45pm to 6pm, St Lukes til 2.30 pm to 6.30pm
For positions at both our Easter (eight days) and Summer (20 days) holiday schemes. Hours are between 8.15am to 4.15am or 6.15pm for play positions, some lunch time shifts also available.
Holiday youth schemes run all the school holidays except Christmas and hours are 8.15am to 6.15pm.
The role involves being part of a team and helping to facilitate and support a range of appropriate activities for children and young people with a wide range of abilities and interests. You will contribute positively to providing safe, stimulating and challenging activities which will meet the needs of all those attending.
Experience is not essential but you should be very willing to learn and be able to undertake relevant pre-scheme training. Previous experience of working with children with disability is desirable.
