Are you interested in an Extratime summer provision?
This is a message for parent carers.
We are working very hard to re-open Extratime as soon as we can, but we are still waiting for permission from the government.
In the meantime, we are putting as many preparations in place as we can so we’re asking parent carers to complete a short survey and an All About Me form.
We understand that families will have different plans and ideas about their child / young person returning to Extratime depending on individual circumstances, so knowing how many places are needed will help us to plan.
The Covid-19 measures also mean that even when we are allowed to re-open, there may be fewer places this summer.
We are considering adjusting the length of the day to support more children and young people so we’d like to understand what difference this would make for your family, especially if you’re a ‘Key worker’.
We’re considering these options to help reduce the risk of spreading the virus by keeping children and young people in small and consistent groups – the ‘bubble’ concept you might have heard about from schools.
We are also asking you to tell us about how you and your child / young person benefits from Extratime – the difference that our clubs, holiday schemes and [email protected] make for your family. This information is important as it helps us to plan and to make sure we are still providing the service that you and your family expect from Extratime. We will also share this information with our funders, to show them how important their support is!
The questions are mostly multiple-choice, but please write as much as like in the comments / text boxes (sometimes called ‘other’).
Thank you in advance for completing the survey, and as always please check out [email protected] for information about what else is on offer whilst we are sadly still closed.
Best wishes and take care
Sam
