Brighton & Hove City Council Holiday Activities and Food Programme
I’m writing to let you know about additional Easter holiday support for children who are eligible for free school meals.
Alongside our usual Holiday Schemes, Extratime is part of a Brighton & Hove city-wide partnership delivering ‘enriching activities and healthy food’ to SEND children and their siblings who are eligible for free school meals in the Easter holidays.
We know that all families with disabled children have had an extremely difficult time throughout the pandemic. This City Council project recognises the extra challenges during the school holidays for families with children on low incomes. Extratime has been asked to support the council to reach free school meal eligible families with children with SEND.
This pilot project and has been set up very quickly which means we’ve not had time to consult with families about the project. Instead we have joined forces with existing partners B&H Food Partnership and Community Transport to extend the [email protected] offer and to include a delicious and free food offer.
This is the link to the registration form for Easter.
