February Half Term Offer
As Sam outlined in her February update, we have taken the difficult decision not to run Extratime holiday schemes over February half term.
Instead, we’re creating a fun alternative offer including lots of live workshops and online resources at [email protected], along with (individual) Family Play Sessions at Portslade Village Centre and Woodys Youth Centre.
You can now request your Family Play Session by completing this short booking form by 9am on Monday 8th February.
Each 90 minute session give families a change of scene and provide a safe place to play and have fun. Families can enjoy an allocated space to themselves and use a range of toys and equipment. We know how vital this is at the moment, so to support as many families as possible we are offering sessions from Saturday 13th February through to Sunday 21st February.
The booking form contains more details about the sessions, but please contact us if you have any questions.
We’ll be in touch on Tuesday 9th/Wednesday 10th February to confirm your arrangements and provide information on measures to keep everyone safe at these sessions.
If you haven’t yet signed up for our February Extratime & Friends sessions then please complete our online form.
We’re also excited to launch Extratime’s new virtual Activity Packs. Each pack contains fun and creative activities for your child/young person to do at home, including drawing, origami and cooking. The password for the packs is Carrot123.
A reminder that your child/young person can also watch lovely videos made by our team of Play/Youth Workers and partners on Extratime’s YouTube channel. We regularly add new videos and over the next week expect to post videos on cookery, dance, drumming and baking.
Please do let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help you and your family and we look forward to seeing some of you over half term.
Many thanks and warm wishes,
Rebecca.
