Free School Meal Vouchers
In October 2020 Labour’s bid to extend free school meals for underprivileged children during the holidays was rejected by MPs in the Commons. Ministers rejected the bid in the knowledge that £63 million had already been provided to local councils to help families struggling from the impact of Covid-19.
Since that decision Marcus Rashford began spearheading a campaign to extend free school meals over the school holidays until Easter 2021. As part of this campaign we have now seen restaurants, pubs and cafes in Brighton & Hove and around the UK offering a tremendous amount of support for families struggling after the impact of the pandemic.
The support comes in the form of free food and meals for families. So if you or someone you know would like to find out what is available then please use the links below.
