At Extratime children and young people have fun, try new things and socialise with their friends.
Each Extratime club offers an action packed programme of fun daily activities run by our own talented staff. These activities include creative arts, cookery, dance, music, sport and lots more.
We run schemes throughout all the school holidays, except Christmas. Taking place in both Brighton & Hove and West Sussex, we offer high levels of support for children and young people to spend their holidays socialising and having fun.
Extratime runs regular family fun days where everyone in the Extratime community can come together for a day of fun activities and socialising. From bouncy castles to magic shows, these active days encourage everyone to get involved!
Extratime was founded in 2003 by two parents of severely disabled children in response to the lack of suitable, affordable, childcare for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Brighton & Hove.
Since then, Extratime has become a lifeline for hundreds of families of children and young people with SEND and is now one of the largest specialist providers of inclusive play and leisure in Sussex.
