Play Workers become part of a great team that support children and young people with a diverse range of abilities and interests to have fun, try new things and make new friends. This means contributing positively by providing safe, creative and challenging opportunities for age-appropriate play and leisure activities.
You will need to be enthusiastic, creative, energetic, enjoy working in a busy environment and have some experience of working with children and young people, ideally including those with additional needs. The role can include providing personal care and support to the children and young people, for example help with eating/drinking and personal hygiene.
What can you expect?
We pay up to £10.05 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
We’ll also support you in building your skills and experience by providing regular on-the-job coaching and feedback, as well as offering training. Additional Holiday Scheme work is also available during school holidays.
